The Perfect Spring Accessory

Seriously, these little guys have stolen our hearts.
Too.. much... cuteness! Our friends are letting us bunny-sit a few of their baby bunnies over spring break. We are so toast.
They even let us name them! (you see why we're toast?)
Lulu:
Heels old
Kenna:
The locket is our Grandmother's :)
WARNING:
The next few photos might be too cute for some audiences.
If you are an owl, cat, or golden retriever,
proceed with caution.
Our lemon tree bush has lemons and blossoms
at the same time!
They are christened as follows:
The grey one - Napoleon
White - Benedict
Brown (Yes! He is a baby!)- Pickles

Have a fantastic day!

To Be a Teenager in 1944

Oh, to be a teenager in 1944!  The cars, the movies, and gosh -
I've gotta get a pair of oxfords! You can read all about it in
(apparently the teenager is a recent invention)

Your Scales and Arpeggios

As a piano/violin teacher it is important to look your best,
and this is by far my students favorite skirt! It is so fun!
"If you're smart, you'll learn by heart
What ev'ry artist knows:
You must sing your scales
And your arpeggios!"

Can you name that movie?

 Keep on practicing!

Evergreens and Red

There is always that odd spot in between seasons; it's not the bleak of winter, but you aren't really in the mood to turn into a Popsicle.
What to do, what to do?
My favorite go-to has been a light jacket/coat with a thicker scarf (preferably a chunky knit, with plenty of length)
-to add texture and interest.
Ooooo that sounds so sophisticated: "to add texture and interest"
that one is goin' in the album!
Scarf - Made by yours truly :) I am officially cured from knitting for the next decade.
Coat- from The Clothes Horse's Blog shop. Thanks Rebecca!
I hope you have a lovely day!

And Miles To Go Before I Sleep

Stopping by Woods on a Snowy Evening
  BY ROBERT FROST
Whose woods these are I think I know.
His house is in the village though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound's the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

Other than getting my shoes stuck in the mud, this shoot was beyond dreamy. Being a city gal does have its perks, but taking a moment to admire the magic of the great wide wood makes me long to heed

Raining Cats and Pandas

We have been waiting for the perfect afternoon to feature our little friend the panda umbrella, and today was the day!
We currently have a slight (okay, maybe more than slight) obsession with collared tops so Men's Wear inspired is totally up our ally.

The blossoms are gone! They where replaced with lush green leaves!
Gosh Nature, you sure are fancy.
Have a lovely evening! One last note, eating a chocolate chip cookie while blogging definitely increases productivity.
Much... Munch... Munch.
